Day 30 of 57: Plaid dress and high socks

On day 30 of 57 Days of Dresses my girlfriend Erin and I went to a way cool house show with awesome bands entertaining throughout the night. The show went down in a seedy basement that opened up to a spacious back yard. I saw this dank corner and fell in love with it! Many thanks to Dallas for taking these photos for me!
This is a sweet little mini shirt dress I got at Urban Outfitters. The non-traditional tartan plaid consists of blues, green and magenta. The dress has a empire waist with princess seams and ties in the back. The circle skirt falls and moves nicely, and the dress has full front button closure. What a nice little dress!

Please ignore my pit sweat. It was absolutely sweltering in that basement!

Dress Retrospective

So guess what I didn't wear yesterday? You got it, folks, a dress. I just couldn't bring myself to it, so I took a day off, but I'll be in a dress today, and I'll have photos posted, I promise! In the mean time how about a retrospective of some of my favorite dresses!

day 23 of 57: Night stalker in animal print

Today is day 23 of 57 Days of Dress! We tried some night time photography for this dress. Let's just say not every location's a winner, but that still shouldn't stop you from giving it a try, right? Lesson learned!

This cat print dress is my only Betsey Johnson piece. I really don't care for many of the styles, but I guess there's always an exception. This dress is also the only animal print dress I have. I'm always on the look out for an awesome zebra print dress, so if you see one, send it my way! It's a leopard print flared mini dress. It has solid black banding, exposed black stitching and a black back tie. The dress has a button front closure with leopard print buttons, a low scooped neck and scooped back. It's a fun little dress, and I don't wear it enough. These pictures really do it no justice!
